Sustainable logistics in focus

Hallbarhet Cyklistl

Catena adresses all areas in which the company is able to act more sustainably in a systematic way - regardless of whether this involves the properties, society or the company's role as employer.

Our work focuses on participating in societal development by establishing the conditions for more sustainable logistics, reducing environmental impact and being an attractive employer. The political objective is for Sweden to be fossil-fuel-free by 2045, with transport and logistics playing a significant role in the possibility of achieving this objective. The construction and property sector accounts for 19 percent of Sweden’s total greenhouse gas emissions, in accordance with the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning. To contribute to the global sustainability goals the Catena acts within the framework of Agenda 2030 and as a member of the UN's Global Compact.
